On My Honor, I Will Try...

We have joined the Girl Scouts. Cody is officially a Brownie and Brianna is a Junior Girl Scout. Cody's troop is brand new and we had our first meeting last night. We are getting in on the last six days of cookie sales so things are starting off with a bang! Because of the short amount of time we have, we were conservative with our goal number, hoping to sell thirty boxes. Not even twenty-four hours later we have sold seventy-six boxes!! And we're not through.

Both girls are very excited about camping and all of the other fun activities they will be doing. I am excited about getting Cody plugged in with some girls her age to play with as well. Brianna has been in need of an extra-curricular activity, so this is perfect timing.

I was a brownie for two or three years, but I don't remember much about what we did other than cookie sales. Hopefully both girls will stick with it and have a great time.
